I stated that "note below is just base pay". I also said "They get anywhere from $1,000-$3,000/month that is Tax Free".
That is in ADDITION to the base pay. This is the Basic allowance that we got for housing, dependents. We also got additional monies for seperation allowance, incidentals, hazardous duties pay. ALL of these are TAX FREE. Now, of course the amount one gets is based on their home state & rank.
I don't know what branch you are in honey, but the ARMY 'hooked' us up!
Then I'm sure other branches of services offer great benefits too.
If you don't have them, maybe its because you were too busy "TALKING" instead of "LEARNING"!
